8 (A)[a]And last of all he was seen also of me, as of one born out of due time.
9 (B)For I am the least of the Apostles, which am not meet to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God.
10 (C)But by the grace of God I am that I am: and his grace which is in me, was not in vain: but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.

- 1 Corinthians 15:8 He maintaineth by the way, the authority of his Apostleship, which was requisite to be in good credit among the Corinthians, that this Epistle might be of force and weight amongst them. In the mean season he compareth himself to such sort after a certain divine art with certain others, that he maketh himself inferior to them all.
